Get Your YBOA Team Involved
Does YOUR YBOA TEAM want to raise money for your Team while making a difference for children orphaned by HIV/AIDS?
Did you know there are 6,000 kids orphaned by AIDS every day? Is your team up to the challenge of shooting 1,000 free throws to represent the thousands of kids orphaned each day?
This year, YBOA is partnering with Hoops of Hope to raise support for children orphaned by AIDS in Zambia as well as support your team. Half of all money raised by your team will benefit your team.
Coach, do you want your team practicing their free throws for two great causes?
If so:
1. Sign up to shoot by sending an email to participate@hoopsofhope.org
In your email be sure to send us:
Your name, Your YBOA Team name, and number of team members
2. Go to www.firstgiving.com/hoopsofhope2008 and set up your online fundraising page
3. Send your page out to everyone you know so they can sponsor your team's efforts
Remember 50% of all monies raised by your team will be given back to the team, the other 50% will be used to fund the project we're working on this year
