Welcome to Hoops of Hope!
Hoops of Hope is the biggest basketball shoot-a-thon in the world, much like a walk-a-thon, but more fun!
You can join thousands of participants and teams from around the world shooting free throws for children in need.
See Get Involved to find out how it works.
Can you shoot 1,000 free throws to represent the thousands of children orphaned by AIDs every day? How about 2,057 to represent the number of children orphaned during a normal school day? Does your team have what it takes to shoot 6,000 free throws, one for every child orphaned on an average day?
If you are up for a challenge and some fun, sign up to do Hoops of Hope today!

The United Nations estimates that every 14 seconds, somewhere in the world, another child is orphaned by HIV/AIDS. This means that each day over 6,000 children join the 15 million children worldwide who have already lost one or both parents to this disease. See Projects on what Hoops of Hope is doing to help.
